The Quarter Turn Stud and Two Grommets are fasteners that have greater vibration resistance as compared to other available fasteners. The quarter turn fasteners can be locked and unlocked in only a quarter turn rotation. The studs and grommets are manufactured using high precision techniques which helps to achieve a very good surface finish as well as good product consistency. The stud is used in CT LightSpeed 5.X HP60 16-Slice, PET Discovery 610 64-Slice, CT LightSpeed 3.X Ultra 8-Slice, PET Discovery STE, CT LightSpeed 3.X Ultra 8-Slice and many other products. The high dimensional accuracy ensures a perfect fit of the parts as per the requirement. The steel material used for the stud has good mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness and wear resistance which ensures a long-life span for the part. The studs and grommets are free from any burrs and sharp edges which enhances the safety aspect of the components. The parts are also zinc electroplated to enhance properties like corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance. By electroplating, the surface of the metal is coated by a thin layer of another metal to be the electrolysis.
