Compression springs are one of the most efficient devices for storing energy and resisting force. They come in various shapes including conical, barrel, helical and hourglass springs and are used in a wide variety of applications. This compression spring is made up of helically formed coils with a pitch in-between used to push back on an applied force in order to return to its original position when the load is released. It is made of Stainless Steel Type 316 wire that is just 0.042 inch in diameter. Steel spring wires are economical, general purpose wires that provide high tensile strength and have superior corrosion resistance and magnetic properties. This Spring can be used in cabinet assembly of OEC 9900 Elite 12 inch, OEC 9900 Elite 9 inch and OEC Mini 6600 Mobile C-Arms systems.
